The train accident held up traffic for a couple of hours, which gave me the opportunity to shoot the trains as they came through at the siding switch. They were all moving quite slow so I had no issues with being right next to them.

This is the damaged engines from hitting the tractor.

i saw a illinois central engine with operation lifesaver SD40-2 at the state docks interchange next to our yard, but it was night and i was heading out of the yard :(

We get a lot of different company's engines in this area. Illinois Central is not unusual to see around here since they are owned by Canadian National.

Was not in a good position to get a side shot.

I've seen 3 Central Michigan engines of all things here, 2 were U25s I think and one was a Slug (no cab)

Richard O'Keefe's 2nd imager (in B&W), is about as authentic period looking as one can get. Fantastic image! Many other excellent shots on this page here too.
