Yep, this definitely conveys a sense of isolation.

And I definitely love the dynamic flowing quality of the water contrasted with the stark sharpness of that one solitary hard rock.

You could actually anthropomorphize this image and apply it to human experience. I'm always a little bit hesitant to do so, but it's also sort of silly to pretend that people won't do that. This is LITERALLY "the unmoving rock standing its ground amidst a turbulent sea." And if you show that description to people, a hell of a lot of them will say, "hey, that's me!"

Anyway, nice tonal values, and I really love the highly detailed texture in the rock.

Thank you Gene and Jimmy,, yep the rock is standing its ground, solid as a rock while the turbulent sea whisks by, kind of like life itself for us humans ,, thanks for your description of thought there Gene
