Nice shots. I'm really ready for some baseball, but it's going to be a little while here (Iowa). Had another 2 - 3 inches of snow today. Hoping my son makes the varsity squad so we can make the spring break trip to Tucson (he's a freshman pitcher). I really like the last one, but it looks like the focus is on the Pirates on the jersey and not the face. Still a decent shot though. Nice set.
Thank you, good luck to your son in his endeavors for baseball. As far as the last one, I think the face is in focus as these were shot at f/5.6 and his helmet is just as sharp as the jersey, but I blew out the highlights and lost a lot of detail.

Double header vs. Purdue tomorrow will be my first of the season... very much looking forward to it. Low 50's and sunny too.
Our set up is on field level at the ends of the dugouts. We can alternate between each dugout, as well as shoot from the backstop in between innings.
Post up your shots from the double header, today rained and I got stuck shooting basketball instead, but tomorrow I will get out to cover both baseball and softball.
