My daughter's having a bunch of friends over tonight for an "Olympics Party" so besides bouncing off the wall and shrieking, they'll be competing in a bunch of fun events for medals. There's going to be plenty of fast action (jumping, hoola-hooping, cart-wheels, etc.) so I'd really appreciate some guidelines on bench setting to capture the action. I'll mostly be using my Tamron 18-270 but may pull out my Canon 70-200 for some closeups. I also have a Speedlite 430EX II as well. I REALLY don't want to miss any great shots so any help you can offer is VERY much appreciated!

If this is going to be indoors and you have low enough white ceilings, I would say try to bounce your flash off the ceiling or walls...
