tried a few things different, let me know if these work or not for you, if not please explain why if you can or if i should try something else...

not much editing but b/w conversion, cant tell if its too busy or not.

composite, which do you prefer?

really not sure about this one, i know its still needs some polish but overall does it work or not? lots of content aware to get rid of some major background distractions.

Not too bad. I wonder why the pics are so noisy, especially #2,3. Were they underexposed and brought up in post?

I would also have her clean all the snow off her boots in shot #1

Love number one :)

Number two I prefer the pulled back version as appose to the tighter crop but this is mainly because the 1st one is too noisy, but then it looks like the focus is on the band rather than the couple.. also I would probably fiddle with their positioning a bit more too. Maybe center right, or bottom left right would be more appealing to me

Love the idea of the 3rd one, snow would look nicer if it were whiter, brighten it up a bit maybe.

Wish we had snow... snow shoots look so good

Much too much concern for background than the couples. None of these are very well framed. I would crop way closer and throw some light on the subjects rather than the background....if you are placing them in the shade, use fill or bounce card.

thanks, 2,3 are a bit noisy, i'll have to clean that up (im sure photobucket isnt helping). this was my first shoot in the snow. it was sunny and my metering was all over the place. i was hoping for clouds and we didn't get any. i shot with a 135 across the creek so no bounce or fill was used, i pulled them from a similar shot and placed them into this i shot while they were walking to the area because the background just above them was too distracting.

i have many other shots that are better framed and focus on the couples, i was just fooling around with these to get some more atmosphere in the set.

i figured one was a keep, 2,3 maybe and im still not sold on 3 being realistic enough...

Last one intrigues me - it looks like a lot of cloning in PS (apologies if not!!!) especially the bckground. I can't see how you could do this without some cloning or extra footprints would be in the wrong places.

the heart and couple are real. the background is a lot of content aware, especially the "hill".

i may go back to today and try to shoot a wider shot and place them in that frame instead of content aware filling it.

I really like the first shot. Nice work, however the other ones seem to be a bit grainy and numbers 2 and 3 seems to be out of focus.
