Just wanted to share a couple of pictures with the community and ask a few questions. What shutter speed to you use to freeze the action? What f stop is your fav. when shooting sports?

1,000 will freeze the action. As far as what f/stop do I use? I use 2.8 almost anytime I'm in doors.

It all depends on the light, but it is always nice to get at least 1/800th for a fast sport like hockey. If you are able to stop down your lens and still get the shutter speed you would like at an iso that you are happy with I would go for it.
