It looks a bit distorted, but not too much ;) Mission accomplished! I think it is a good shot.

Looks good to me.... nicely lit, and the distortion is OK - I quite like wide angle portraits for a bit of a different type on image.

Light is perfect.
You camera is too high. Level the center of lens with nose (Without tilting the horizon) or shoot from farther distance with a longer focal length, and all would be fine.

Too much, IMO. But if that floats your boat...

btw, photoshop CC 's selection and refine edge is lightyears ahead of cs5.

i never would have gotten such a clean selection and background replacement without a halo in cs5.

Was it the lens that made that "MA" so big in your watermark? Lol Wow is that distracting, make the whole thing a third the size and shrink that MA to mach the total height of the rest of it and stick it to the left of.
As far as the composition, it feels a bit tight. I don't like to cut off shoulders in this type of portrait. Need a bit of space above as well. How did you get too tight with such a wide lens lol

I agree....but I have given up on commenting on unnecessarily large logos and/or signatures....and in most cases totally unnecessary and distracting for a shot posted for critique. At least in the above case it is attractive and professional.
As far as the portrait goes, I can't figure why you would want distortion on an otherwise very good shot.

I did want to add that over all it's good. The hair does fall of a bit dark due to the lighting. And me personally, Just a thought, with a sharp detail portrait try one smoothed shaved or have that full trim every five days look. You're in between and it looks like you just didn't shave in a day or two.
I know this is petty, but it's below a #1 (about 5-7 day look) guard. Therefor most people can pick up and that and just think it's lazy. If you do only shave every other day look that's fine but use the shaved version ;)

Not throwing stones, just an opinion.....
