airbutchie Not too crunchy More info | Aug 05, 2014 10:29 | #8 Up close and PERSONAL... Our cruise ship got as close as it can get to Sawyer Glacier @ Tracy Arm Fjord... According to the cruise director, he mentioned that the height of this glacier stands almost twice the height of the Empire State Building... And is about two mile wide from end-to-end... I was able to take this shot to show its massive size in one frame @ 400mm... As our ship began to slowly get some distance away, I was able to take several singular frames to create a panoramic of Sawyer Glacier... I will post that tomorrow for your viewing pleasure... In the meantime, here's an 'up close and personal' view of this gigantic piece of ice... 1D4 + 400L DO IS... ISO 400, f/4 @ 1/2000sec... ![]() Hi. My name is Butch...
