Feb 18, 2014 22:37 | #3 I personally don't care for the haze in the first picture. The second picture is cute but I know some people wouldn't like the fact that over half of it's blown-out. The third one is also cute, it could be a little bit sharper and you want to try not to cut off body parts like his fingers if at all possible. As a mother of two, I know that's often times easier said than done. And finally, for me at least, I like the fourth shot the best. I like the backlighting for this picture, and the expression on her face. Again, some people might complain about her gumby arm action there but I feel nothing but jealousy for those that are freaky flexible. I might crop a little bit more off of the top and left-hand side but not enough to make her centered. I'd also clone out the distracting person walking in the background and maybe add a little more contrast and sharpening to all of these. I'm not a portrait photographer so you can take my critique for what it's worth. FYI: "Fitness Freak" is also known as "Amber" outside of POTN.

Thanks for the input. I of course didnt put as much thought into these as i would with a session, i was pretty much just sitting on the ground with my 80-200 spinning around yelling at them just to try an get them to stop long enough to snap...lol but I could see where the statements are applicable for these.
