It's images like that that make me appreciate not having to shovel rain...:p

Still the same as it was back in August/September... 75 F high, no rain. It'll probably stay the same for the next 10 months. It's really boring here. We need some of that water in any form, snow or rain.

I'm from LA, and I'm not bored. I'm enjoying this warm weather. I'd rather have a BBQ than shovel snow. ;)

When you see my camera gear you'll think I'm a pro.
When you see my photos you'll know that I'm not.

Every winter as I age I keep saying I could live in a place where I could where shorts and flip flops all year round. We are getting to the stage were we may be spending some time in south western USA for a bit every winter. I like winter but it can be a bit too long. This winter has been an unusual one which is affecting the continent.

Well, after being in the low 80's and high 70's, we're having a cold snap; as my wife was getting ready to leave for work, she put on her heavy pea coat, and said, "Brrr... it's only going to be 62 today!" Her car is parked in the garage, and when she arrives at work, she only has to walk 30 feet to get to the door.

I was hoping to move to Idaho or Colorado when I retire. Clearly, we're not going to make it through the first Winter.

Edit. Make that, Autumn.

It boggles my mind that is is 62 and she has to walk only 30 feet. 62? That is shorts, beer and BBQ weather for us

Actually our city is at the top for the most extreme weather. Beautiful hot summers and very cold winters. I could ride on my motorcycle till 3:00 AM with just a T shirt in late July, early August. Summers are just a bit too short. Love our fall and winter right up until new years. We plan to take off south for several weeks after Jan 1 and be back mid Feb to get some ice fishing in if all goes well.

The arrow shows my place. The shot of the island in the summer post #7, this is on the other side of it. I was just out myself that day but usually we have groups between 10 to 30 people, build a big fire on the ice, the girls sit around it, chat and consume cocktails while we fish and do the same.
