I found myself very much caught right in the action during a bush fire close to where I live yesterday (Lake Joondalup, Perth, Western Australia) which allowed me to capture some imagery of the helitacks in action - namely a couple of 214Bs and the ceaselessly impressive Air Crane (known here as Marty).
Very impressive to see these highly skilled pilots in action at such close quarters.
