A few shots from dive trips.

Scorpion fish. Photo taken on a night dive using Nikonos with single strobe on Ecktachrome transparency film. Date was May, 1991 at Bloody Bay on Little Cayman.

This one is an orangutan crab in its protective anemone. Taken with Canon A720 IS with housing. Philippines, September 2008.

Nice shots. What setup do you use nowadays?

I like the orangutan crab shot - I find those pretty hard to capture well. I would be tempted to crop out the blown out area in the top left though.

Hard to crop very tight, as the original is a jpeg from an 8mp Canon A720 IS P&S in an underwater housing. There aren't a lot of pixels to spare. I may just go in again and paint that area darker to make it less obtrusive. Thanks for the observation.

I actually haven't been on a dive since that trip the Philippines in 2008, so I don't really have a setup now. I do still have that camera and housing, but it's really only good for closeups. The flash doesn't reach more than about 3 feet underwater.
