Forgive me if this has been covered before, I searched and didn't find anything.

I just signed up for the Lightroom / Photoshop CC bundle for $10/month and have been working my way through learning Photoshop (I've gotten fairly proficient with Gimp so my transition is going pretty fast). I discovered that the lasso and magnetic lasso tools don't work right in that hitting the 'backspace' key won't undo the last point selected and hitting 'escape' won't get you out of the lasso tool. At first I assumed that I had accidentally screwed up a setting somewhere, but lo and behold this is a problem that Adobe knows about - I find it pretty surprising that they'd release software with this major of a bug.

From what I understand I can uninstall Photoshop CC and the install CS6 from the Adobe Cloud and use that until Adobe fixes the bug. Will I be giving up much functionality by doing that?

Also - if you already own CS6 you can leave it on your machine right next to CC. There is no need to uninstall CS6.

Well that was good timing. I'll look at that when I get home from work tonight.

People bitched and moaned about the CC subscription model, but bugs are addressed and updates are issued at a furious pace compared to any other version of PS I can remember.

You win!
