Im an amateur but I have been getting special perks with these Zoos. I shoot in the city zoo and private zoos in my area. With the private zoos I get special meet anf greats with the animals. I got to play with 3 6 week old lion cubs on a couch. These zoos offer me free entry for the rights to my photos for there FB page and websites.

Shooting through glass is so hard and some fencing I do what I can.... Thanks for your comments about the enclosures. It is tough.

Nice to see someone from Barrie on here btw. I have a few friends that leave up there!

I was all set to try to give you a good critique, but then I saw the polar bear cub and my brain melted. Is that the cub who was born in November?

Actually, the photo of the cub might look a bit too blue to me (it could be my monitors).

It does look a bit blue. I think its a result from bad light shadow and shooting through glass. I pulled out the blue using lightroom. doesnt seem to have gotten it all!

I like the first version you posted more. Definitely not a fan of the vignette you added. I also like the bear on the right more.

really nice job. as someone else said, you cant tell these were from the zoo.

the first and last hace a cinematic feel to them, nice job on the processing, the second's highlight are a bit blown for my tastes, i'd try to bring in more black.

All of these are great. I can't wait to go to the zoo now.

I love the shot of the baby gorilla, too. The gorilla enclosure at the Calgary Zoo is incredibly challenging to work with, so I'm pretty envious of what you were able to get of the gorilla baby.
