Today Alamy launched Stockimo - an iPhone app for uploading and selling pictures taken with mobile devices though Alamy.

Don't think you will make much from them. This kind of services targeted to news photography. Time is the key.
The app allows photographers to upload photos from their phone right after an event and editors can see the photos shortly after.

If you have a big fire or a celebrity fight in your neighborhood - you are good to go.

Not sure how long the approval process they have, but I've tested similar apps where photos appear in database immediately - I think it's a great concept for news photography.
