Went out to San Jacinto Wildlife Area, near Perris, CA, to do a little photography. I wanted to do some scenery shots but, although the weatherman predicted partly cloudy skies there were zero clouds, but, what was worse was the fact that it was so hazy today you could hardly see the badlands hills, which are about 2 miles away. So, I just concentrated on a few shots of closer scenery (trees and the hills actually on the wildlife area) and, of course, the birds. Here's a few of the bird shots...
A couple of pintail, a shoveler and a ruddy that seemed to like following one of the sprig around the pond.
A bunch of mallards in the pond near the refuge check station. Their green heads look purple in this picture, I guess because of the way the sun was hitting them.

A bunch of spoonies in this pond. I think there's a couple gadwall out there too.
