It looks like you've been a bit heavy handed with the burn in vignette in the first one. Try flagging the light so it only falls where you want, and perhaps from a lower angle so there is less reflection.

I read that you wanted it that way for the "look". However you can keep that "look" with the gun black. I played with it some. You don't have image Editing Ok on so I wont post it.
