Very impressive!

Fantastic detail on the head and neck and keeping the whites from blowing out (something I have problems with)

Must agree that they are cuteness challenged.

I know most people don't find them pretty but whenever I am around them I always "see something" in their eyes. They seem to have a lot of personality and I love getting portraits of them.

Great shots! Looking at them, it is clear why some biologists place new world vultures in the stork family rather than in falconidae.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.
