7D an improvement over 50D in IQ/low light?

Lovely smooth bokeh on those, digital - I'm definitely leaning towards the 7D. I think with the extra MP I can uprez from raw to the sizes I want with no problem. I have done this with the 50D files with satisfactory results. Always depends on the image, of course.

I hope this works - I've just figured out how to upload images here, as I just wanted to illustrate the kind of images I like to do: hope this works! I like working in more abstract formats.

So did I with my 50D but I noticed a difference with the 7D. Just be aware that the 7D has a light hungry sensor. Not as forgiving when you under expose when it comes to noise. Correct exposure can yield good results at higher ISO.

I just visited your site, digital -beautiful, especially the flamingo! Love the semi-abstracts.
Yes, the 7D will be a new learning experience both in shooting and processing, and I expected a learning curve no matter which model I went with :) All the more fun!
