I was shooting with three different copies of 24-70 (canon, sigma, tamron) and when viewing exif information I can only get the mm of what i was shooting but not the lens brand. Is there any program that allows me to see the brand as well?

6D; canon 85mm 1.8, Tamron 24-70mm VC, Canon 135L Canon 70-200L is ii

What are you using to view the exif? I believe Lightroom shows the full name of the lens, including maker.

PS CS6 and Light Room do. Canon ZoomBrowser that comes with your camera gives a very complete Exif, though it is also a factor of whether the camera body reports the info. I know my 5D3, 5D2, 5D and 7D do report, but the old 20D doesn't.

Canon : EOS R : 5DIV : 5DS R : 5DIII : 7DII : 40 2.8 : 50 1.4 : 35L : 85L : 100L IS Macro : 135L : 16-35L II : RF-24-105L IS : 70-200L II : 100-400L IS II : 1.4x & 2x TC III : 600EX-RT : 580EX : 430EX : G1XII : Markins Q10 & Q3T : Jobu Gimbal : Manfrotto Underware : etc...
