Went to a Jousting Tornament with some friends, including Scottnz, Wazza and iKirst from here.

Despite the main attraction being the Jousting there was a complete medieval carnival atmosphere, and lots and lots of people in full costume.

The Romans made a good showing:

As did some young Viking warriors:

And there was even the odd crazy Englishman:

Looks like lots of fun. Thanks for sharing.

Moppie, cool shots. The guy's face-plate was so shiny that part of you was reflected when you took the shot. He must have spent some time polishing his gear...

John;)

I missed this thread :p I suck

That last pic is a crack up, especially knowing that that guy snarled and posed and growled at the cameras for ages, so you could get the perfect shot ;)

Great photos, Mr Moppie :D

And after all his posing, I actualy messed it up!
I got the flash setting wrong, and it wasn't strong enough to fill in the shadow in his face.

You know I don't recall seeing any Jousting photos from you and Wazza?

Excuse List as follows;

#1 ~ I've been busy organising projects :p
(I'm good at it, I even get paid to do it  )

#2 ~ My PC has been woefully cast aside for a faster model at home. All the Jousting photos are on said cast aside PC. Said PC is distressed and choosing not to operate properly due to said cast aside-ness, upon every re-boot. Faster model is better option to use.

#3 ~ My time is limited and what spare moments I may have, I'm avoiding PC's like the plague. I sit infront of one all day. I should really upload pics to the work PC instead. It actually has the luxery of HDD space..

#4 ~ I'm a slack ass

#5 ~ I don't like my jousting photos..

^ ^ Pick one :p
