That is why i did shoot this building, but so sad and pity they didn't clean/wash that floor to have better reflection, also few marble [granite] were cracked so that also may effect on the reflection, but something better than nothing.

So basically it's the exact same camera only with IBIS? Guess I'll keep with my original plan and put my money toward the a7S

In the space of one year there are zooms covering 16mm-200mm. Also, there are the excellent 35mm and 55mm primes. Next year promises more lenses. That is not "no lenses".

Be realistic. Just how many lenses can a company reasonably develop and roll out in the space of a single year? Sure, there are not a whole lot of choices right now, and I truly want them to speed up the new lens roll-outs, but it's crazy to expect them to have a complete lineup of everything from 14mm-800mm in one year.

I do think the platform's smaller size has some disappointing built-in lens limitations. For instance: will Sony be releasing zooms with constant f/2.8? That's a big lens on a tiny camera, so I'm not sure. They will be rolling out a new 35mm f/1.4 next year, so maybe the faster aperture zooms are coming. Just put everything in perspective: it's only been one year into this full-frame e-mount platform.

Very true, and i never thought why Sony didn't announce more lenses, so i will wait even longer and i have enough lenses even they are not E-mount, even Samyang 14 i didn't buy it with E-mount, so i am not so disappointed that Sony doesn't have more lenses YET.

Fair point, but I think people's frustration comes more from the fact that Sony seems more eager to develop and released bodies than lenses and that seems bass akwards to me.

I agree with David here. Rome wasnt built in a single day. Canon/Nikon didnt just launch with all of their lenses available. It takes time to create and produce quality glass. So far they are doing a good job...plus my old glass does a great job on them as well

I agree; it does appear odd. And I'm sure that was the sentiment Bobby was expressing.

Personally, as one who has yet to even buy an e-mount lens and don't even have any strong plans for one (hey I wish my budget allowed me to buy them all - they all look very nice to me ), I'm all for new bodies - can't wait to see what the a9 is all about.

I eagerly await an A9. The A7II sounds less likely to materialize - after all why release a series of stabilized zooms and then offer a stabilized body? On the other hand who know what thoughts go through the head and designers at Sony?

same... minor upgrade, then again the a7 is already a good camera.

a9.. hmm.....

Sorry I didn't realise that said "no lenses". What I meant was frustrating was the lack of primes in the 1.2-2.0 range like a 35, 85, 135 etc. I'm hopeful they will come eventually though.

The 55 is an amazing lens so my hopes are high
