Here's a quick shot of my new Surface Pro 3. I've never gotten used to using a touch pad so I also got the new MS Arc mouse. It connects by Bluetooth so that it doesn't take up the one usb port. I also have a 1TB external drive for photos, movies, downloads, etc.

I really like mine. I'd say the only negative about it to me is that the screen could be brighter or have a matte finish. As it is, it's marginally useful outdoors/in a car. When I was an inspector for the local county, I used a laptop and spreadsheets I created to track bid item quantities for payment on the jobsite. Fortunately, since I'm now retired I don't really need that bright a screen but I still count that as a negative. For use indoors, it's great.
