My jewel red salvia plants are growing nicely since I planted them on 4/17.

I finally got around to using the TSE-24mm II and the Sony A7r. I am not dissapointed. Sharp corner to corner with huge depth of field. Can't ask for more.

I have a 5d3 and a 17-40 and a 14mm Samyang-would you buy a A7r or a 24mmnTS-e?

I'd buy the TS-E 24 in a heartbeat given those choices but I only have a 6D.

Compare the shots taken with both camera bodies in the TSE images thread, then compare that thread to the 17-40 or Samyang threads would be my case. If its for landscape or architecture, the TSE is right up there.

The A7r also looks great, I just think there is more immediate value in the versatility of the lens, others may disagree.

I guess you have to ask yourself what you want more - tilt/shift/large image circle 24mm lens or more dynamic range/MP. It's a win win kind of a question for everyone, except your bank manager!

I agree. Lenses before bodies. The TS-E 24mm is awesome.

I ended up selling my Canon 6D after getting the A7. The only native lens I've bought is the Zeiss 55.

But I just bought the Voigtlander Nokton 35/1.2 II and it's showing a lot of potential for night street work:

And with the Voigtlander close focusing adapter I am finding it magical:

A interesting thing I found out using my B&W 110 filter (10 stops) I can put the filter on and I can do everything even focus (focus peaking). Will save me time setting up for landscapes.
