Shake reduction is found under "Filter>Sharpen>Shake Reduction". Be sure you run any noise reduction before using this filter. Here is my before/after comparison on a different shot of the moon. I think it shows the improvements in detail well. After I cropped the image and reduced the image size to post online, I also applied a little smart sharpen to the image.

Here's the comparison:

Shooting at 200mm is hardly ideal for portraits, and MF with the 30-year-old Minolta is not that fun, but I do feel it is worth it.

Gene, this lens is a action-shooting machine on my A77ii but is pretty awful as a MF lens via the LA-EA3. It adjusts stiff and the throw is short. I use it purely because it renders very much to my liking. I can't say if it is any better or worse optically than the EF200 2.8, but that lens is easier to MF for sure. I love both of those 200 primes, like two children from two different mothers.

Full disclosure, I added no sharpening in post. I tweaked slightly in DXO 11, which I am still learning how to use. I have used CS5 for years, so a bit of an adjustment.

Here is another series from that shoot.

I'm just curious. Is it my monitor screen or are the pictures are highly saturated particularly in the blues ??
