Hi
This is an amazing lens, I'm impressed.
Very sharp at F3.4 in all focal lengths.
I would say it is my favorite lens. I highly recommend this lens.

i like your processing, i didn't know minolta made such a range of 50mm lenses, like the 50mm the 55mm and 58mm, seems like a lot in that focal range, is the 55 1.7 close to the quality as the 58 1.2. i have a few 50 1.7 and they are very sharp just like all my minoltas,

Thank you! Found a mint one on eBay. On its way. :-)

Thank you.

I paid $410 for it on eBay. Used, but it’s in MINT condition. I could have gotten one of the less expensive ones, but the condition does matter to me.

And I use the Fotodiox Pro adapter.

$410? I was looking at this one on eBay (external link) and is going for $289. Unless I'm looking at the wrong lens.

BTW I tried to follow your Instagram link in your signature but I get an error: Sorry, this page isn't available.

Sorry, the Instagram link was broken. Fixed. :-)

As I said, there were a few less expensive ones I saw on eBay, but having a mint copy was important to me. I don’t mind paying a bit more for that.
