Hi
This is an amazing lens, I'm impressed.
Very sharp at F3.4 in all focal lengths.
I would say it is my favorite lens. I highly recommend this lens.

i like your processing, i didn't know minolta made such a range of 50mm lenses, like the 50mm the 55mm and 58mm, seems like a lot in that focal range, is the 55 1.7 close to the quality as the 58 1.2. i have a few 50 1.7 and they are very sharp just like all my minoltas,

Sorry, the Instagram link was broken. Fixed. :-)

As I said, there were a few less expensive ones I saw on eBay, but having a mint copy was important to me. I don’t mind paying a bit more for that.
