Thanks David. Hardly more than snapshots but I appreciate the comments. This is the first project I've really visited since my retirement so I'm enjoying observing without the responsibilities as the inspector. The upcoming concrete pour I'm interested in because I consulted the office regarding the admixes used.

I'm a civil engineer in the uk gene so it's interesting seeing your site photos to see the differences in how we do things. Also enjoying them for the 3D pop you seem to be getting with the sony

I left my job as a civil engineer, and now i am not sure if i should look for a job as a photographer which i love and enjoy or as a civil engineer which i hate and don't enjoy, with civil engineering i can get more money budget from work than as a photographer.

Not an engineer but I was a Senior Engineering Technician that was the onsite inspector for Public Works Projects for the County I worked for and acted as the resident engineer. For this particular project, the main storm drain system will be a 14' wide by 7' high reinforced concrete box that will extend for about .75 of a mile and transition to 90" (7.5 ft) diameter concrete pipe for an additional .55 miles plus various lateral systems that will tie into it.

I have to admit that I sometimes miss the work because it was so interesting.

Had an last minute shoot after work today.... literally took about 1 hour.

Yana P.
Williamsburge Bridge, NYC
Sony A7 + Zeiss 55mm f/1.8
Natural Light

Shot all Wide open @ f/1.8 (in some areas the auto focus was slow and sometimes missed, it was a lot of overcast out, but enough light for the lens to focus quickly, but it didn't...) Despite that, i love the shots i got with my A7.

First 4 was shot in Color and converted to B+W in post:

That is great, my dream is to study MBA in US, but i have difficult situations that killed this dream and i no longer can study abroad.

I will do my best to confirm my planning, but i am not sure if i can make it to Las Vegas yet, i will have limited budget and i am worry that it may shrink crazy in Washington/Oregon before i think to go Las Vegas, but who knows until that time.
