It's not made for that and will just deteriorate your quality for no advantage. It should work on the 75-300, but that lens is pretty soft as it is, losing a stop of light and the sharpness you lose from adding an extender is questionable.

gonzogolf dumb remark memorialized More info | Feb 24, 2014 13:15 | #7 Plus you may lose autofocus on the 75-300. Your camera will only focus with a lens that has an aperture of 5.6 or larger and with the converter in place the lens becomes a f8 max and will lose autofocus on the long end.

(and dont confuse reach or length with zoom, zoom is the ability to use multiple focal lengths with one lens. All your lenses are zooms, only one is long). The 75-300 is an old film lens that canon continues to bundle with rebels. It was marginally sharp enough for low res film use, but doesnt stand up too well to higher resolution digital bodies.
