I wonder if that's 200-continuous RAW files or is that still jpg limited?

Sounds like a great camera, though I was expecting something a little more.

It's definitely not a big leap but, I'd like to see for myself. The D3 and D3s I've used didn't show much of a big gain in ISO. And the D4 was slightly ahead.

16.4MP? Why would anyone release a camera with less that 20 now? Weird....

I can't tell if you're being serious.

I don't think he understands at all. He reads specs and thinks the 1D X is better. In reality when it comes to IQ, both the D4 and 1D X are similar. :)

Agree. Shame how still some people put so much importance in MP....specially in a photography related board.

MP is essential for some kinds of photography and not for others. The kind of photography that the D4s is best suited for is fine @ 16MP. Those that need more have the D800.

I want to see that range of options available in Canon's lineup, but they've decided not to have a range, unless 18-22MP is a "range".

Looks like they got rid of the green cast too, I might consider going back to Nikon ;) I'm going to have a hard time choosing between the 1Dx and D4s

I'm looking forward to DXO's assessment on sensor performace for high ISO. I'm guessing it might not be a huge leap but incremental at best.

I saw a high ISO comparison of the 4S and 4 yesterday, it's quite an improvement. Easily noticeable.

It's not like Canon's slight-of-hand trick with better jpg-conversion algorithms while RAW remains relatively the same, is it? :)

Wow, they really did got rid of the D4's "lets put random green spots everywhere" rendering on higher ISOs. Just seeing how clean they look is just amazing. This could be a huge game changer
