Baby picture ...advice?

Hi all...I m very new at taking portraits and was wondering if I could get some advise about how this could be a better shot. I realise I could fit the whole of the arm in but was wondering about anything else regarding PP etc.. Thanks in advance!

PP with babys is hard -- it's very easy to over do it and make things look terrible. There are some photographers on here though that really do exceptional work that I presume that must include some subtle PP, but it's hard to tell what they've done as they've done it so well.
