So I've tried about every piece of software for HDR out there and wondering if anyone has any advice for me. My go-to software is SNS-HDR, but it's horribly slow and takes me about an hour to do about 20 real estate photos. Back when I first started, I took 3 AEB shots, 2 stops apart, batch processed with LR/Enfuse and was mostly happy, especially with the speed I could PP. The shadows are brought up a little too much causing wood floors and cabinets to be a brighter red/orange, and highlights were decent. The main problem I found was a little bit of halo around windows, and even on a large white ceiling, near the wall it would be nice bright white, then toward the middle it would be darker, then back to bright white near the other wall.

Anyone have any suggestions? More shots maybe? 5, 7? I am using the plugin through Lightroom.

I heard HDR enfuse was pretty good - although I haven't used it myself. The halo effect would normally come from the tone mapping (it would be accentuated by it anyway). I find that if you do your tone mapping in LR, you will have less problems with halos. Are you doing all your PP with in Lightroom with plug-ins?

I like Picturenaut, save HDRI to 32 bit tiff, tonemap in LR.

I also use sns-HDR and it was terribly slow. For some reason one day I turned off my virus scan software and it sped up to an incredibly fast pace. Might want to check what else you have running when using the software
