Hello
The LCD screen of my Canon 60D shows nothing, although camera work perfectly fine. I tried pressing Info button several times, no response.

I google and find that one possible solution would be reset factory settings
now problem is without LCD showing the menu, i cannot really use the menu to do "clear settings".

What would be your other suggestion? I try not to send to repair centre which may cost $100+.

If i leave my battery out of the camera for a week ,would that help?

Thanks

I don't have my 60D with me but can you do a factory reset using the EOS utility?

The alternative supposedly, never tried this, is to power OFF. Then remove the battery, move the power switch to ON and then hold the shutter button down for 20 to 30 seconds. Now turn power switch OFF and reinstall a fully charged battery. Switch to ON and if the reset was successful you will get the typical initial screens. Date and time needing to be reset is another clue the reset was successful.

Good luck!
