Mar 02, 2014 11:25 | #41 All with the 300mm f/4 plus a 1.4 teleconverter. I made the decision based on other trips & decided if they came up to the raft I would just hang over the side & enjoy them close up. In years past I took 2 camera bodies with a 24-70 lens but I really never used it. I try only to photograph about 25% of what I see because I don't really like to watch whales from a view finder. Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.
