At about 12:00am I heard a SPLASH! in the backyard and immediately reached for the cannon, not the Canon but the hand cannon. I didn't know what the hell that noise was so I peek out of the curtains and see a silhouette of some creature getting out of the jacuzzi.

I immediately flip on the lights to see this guy shaking his feathers dry!
Grabbed my camera and shot these at ISO6400.

So during the time I was shooting this guy I could hear two other owls with distinct hoots next door and across the street.
I plucked a few waterlogged mice from my pool in the past so I could only think that is what this guy was after.

I'm Preston & I pretend to know what I'm doing but I really just wing it.

Wow, now that is a "Kodak moment", oh I mean Canon moment! Those really are amazing images!
