I'm just about to pull the trigger on 2 30 - 140cm ( or close to ) strip boxes...

Now i'm tempted just to spend the extra to get official Bowens Modifiers.. because the build quality is fantastic and there is no colour cast.. But there are cheaper options out there..

I'm in the UK so must be available to buy over here...

What are your guys thoughts?? Any other options I should look at?

Thanks in advance

Bowen's user here in US and Italy.
Mainly due to safety issues with wild power supplies.
But I stay 100% Bowen's and have over 40 years.

Have you looked at:-
Trades as ROCWING - in UK personally been there! Seen the stock
NB their official website is useless! - but customer service is brilliant.
On amazon and ebay.

Personally I have a few Bowens lights, triggers, umbrellas and remotes, and would definitely stick with them for technical stuff; but modifiers, 1.4 m octa softboxes , reflectors backdrop stands I would check these out. VFM and very heavy duty, great prices and much much cheaper than Bowens
If money matter have a look.
Really well buit stuff.

I've got several lencarta chiaro soft boxes and can honestly say the are of very high quality and certainly give no colour casts, I'm not sure about their others as don't use them. The chiaro's are definatly worth a look.
