Hey Rick, if we know you are coming there is usually an extra lens floating around. I have a 400 5.6 that doesn't get that much use. I wouldn't mind trading back and forth with my 500 and 400 during a session.

Nice shots everyone and how's about a quick description of what shredding is to us flat landers.

Very nice shots everyone. I need to sit closer to pat next time to get some pointers from the master.
I'll have a few more NSSA shots to post later, although mine don't seem to do it justice.

^^ Gene, shredding is when the surfer do their powerful snapping maneuver during a turn that creates a big spray. ^^

Nice to see everyone had a good time shootin' this weekend. Always fun to see you fellas down da shore. Next NSSA event is on June 14-16 at Salt Creek, Dana Point. For those who have not shot the creek just a reminder it's a steep down/up to/from beach. But, The Ritz Carlton usually provide a golf cart to take people for a $1 ride when there's a big event.

With the fellas locked down with their surfing pics I'll just post something different. Keep 'em coming.... y'all
