for crappy light, that turned out really good.

I had a bad day at the griffith observatory. Had a couple try to steal my parking spot...... it went from bad to ugly. My brother was literally standing in front of their car and wouldnt budge.... that's how badly they wanted to steal our parking....

got security over, and they kicked them out. It's incredible that 60+ year olds would try to steal my parking......

their famous last words: "It's LA!"

as if that were an excuse to be incredibly rude. It makes me very happy to know that they waited very long for parking and had to travel very far to arrive. Watching them get kicked out was awesome.

Nice shots everyone and how's about a quick description of what shredding is to us flat landers. ;)

Its usually used in a general reference to the quality of one's surfing - "that dude shreds" = he is a good surfer

or

"you were really shredding today bro" = you were surfing really well today

It is used in both long and shortboarding circles :-)

Speaking of - this kid shreds - Joey Bookout making the most of small Blackies waves last night on his longboard. Got out to shoot with the new Tamron 150-600 VC - so far pretty impressed with this lens after 2 evenings of shooting. As you can see the weather was less than perfect but the AF is nice and fast - really high keeper rate even at 600mm, so far I'm pleasantly surprised.
