Nice! ISO 12800! I assume you left the grain in there on purpose for effect? Very nice.

Nice work as always Butch.

I hope my granddaughter doesn't mind me trying to give her a bit of a 'glamour' look. :D

I removed a bit more of the 'glow' as suggested.

I'm sure she wouldn't mind because she looks great but looks like you used the gausian blur all over her. I'd use the eraser and wipe off the blur from her hair, eyebrows, eyes, nostrils, lips and teeth. :)

Just took this snapshot of one my clients in the gym and yes there is a piece of machine coming out of side of head it's a gym you know machines are everywhere.

I did a tiny bit of skin smoothing in lightroom.

Thanks for the comments. I actually used very little 'glow' and did remove some of it too. Because I shot at f1.8, a lot of the image is soft due to the shallow DOF. I did feel that some area were a bit too harsh is what prompted me to try the 'glow' filter.

Here's the same edit with that layer turned off. Oh, I don't know if I mentioned it but this was shot using window light only.

For your shot, to be honest, what's a bit more distracting than the gym equip in the background is her hair standing straight up.

Great shot! Boy am I glad I decided to try those longer lenses, eh? They seemed to work a lot better on this sunset than the wide stuff..

I'll post mine up a bit later. Need to have dinner first.
