I think it looks much better now, still not a big fan of the reply box, but it's ok.

New format is much easier on the eyes on mobile platforms (iPad).

Butch. I didn't realize you had 2 1Ds. LOL. If you wanna unload that 7d, I might be interested.

On a somewhat related note, I'm thinking of going mirroless (at least as a 2nd camera). Been contemplating the Fuji XT-1. Something to carry around for day to day, light, walkabout type photography, which I want to get more into.

Anyone play with one of those Fujis?

Oh wow, that's an awesome one. Perfect composition for telephoto compression.

Thx Gents... Next time I'll shoot it with the 200 1.8L (wide open) for added telephoto compression on the image... Hehehe.. And Charlie... The hike isn't bad... However... If you have 10+ pounds of gear attached to you, then it can get a little bit difficult... But we are all strong and young lads that can take it, right?! RIGHT!!!

;)

Another great shot Butch, definitely on my list. Hopefully can go this weekend. But I think I'll take the elevator, lol.

I've been considering adding a TS-E to my inventory... More on the wide end, though; 17 or the 24 models... Hmmmm...

:D

I love my 24. If I had the money I'd get all of them but will likely only add the 90(I can get close enough 45 with TCs on the 24) but I'd prefer to wait and see if they up date the 45 and 90 to have independent rotation he like the 17 and 24 II. The 17 would be nice for the times I'd like wider than 24 and stitching isn't an option but then I'd need to get bigger filters which I'd prefer not to for both price and transporting.

I'd pick the 17 between the 17 and 24 if I must choose, since the 17 can be used with the 1.4x to get you to 24mm. I actually have both and love them equally. :p

I was originally going to go that route for the same reason, but with my current filters not working and the fact that I tend to shoot more in the 24mm range for the types of shots I'd use either of them. Since it's usually unlikely I'd be using them for action stitching is fine if needed, plus gives me an even more pixels to print large if desired.

Outside of in your face action photography I haven't even used my 17-40 since getting the 24 and have only NEEDED to stitch once so I think I made the right choice. I'd still like to have all 4 though.

One of these days, I'll get the TS-17 or 24.

Not today though. Just spent a pretty penny on new tires, a plumber, and a root canal, in that order, since this morning. Thank Goodness for modern meds :)

Yet another reprocessed oldie.

nice processing.

my brother was thinking of selling off his 17TSE, he started to fall in love with the 16-35F4IS I recommended for him.

The tilt function he never used, and the shift function, not used enough due to issues with filters. Really cool lens for sure, excellent optics, however the shift limitation with filters is annoying, and the fact you cant zoom...
