I have a 2005 fixed lens camera (not a Canon!) with a 24-120mm f2.8 35mm equiv. lens.
The camera is badly limited to just 10MP so I cannot do much cropping and still get 12" x 8" prints at 300 DPI.
My problem is that there is NO barrel or pincushion distortion except at full aperture and nearer than about 4 feet (no vignetting either).
I must have the 24mm equiv. Going by web reviews and threads here there are no comparable zooms for interchangeable lens cameras.
Is there such a 24mm prime lens?
Peter

Totally worthless to sum up some 24mm lenses, because we don't know which body he has. But yes, there are lots of 24mm lenses but not every lens fits on every system.

^ this.

also, imo, i think going wider, to about 20mm is necessary for most architecture photography.
