Hi
is there a way to edit a camera raw/lightroom profile to work with another body?

i have VSCO film camera profiles for lightroom to emulate films

i tried with my 5d mark 2 and they look really great

the more update cameras are eos 700D/60D , i did not buy but i'm playing wit a 70D right now

is there a way to edit the *.dcp files to let for example the 700D work with the 70D raw files?

i tried to use xvi32 to change 700D to 70D without luck
and i found dcpTool http://dcptool.sourceforge.net/Introduction.html (external link)

in short does somebody if i edit a lightroom camera profile to use with another body?

thanks

The only way that would work is if each camera has the exact same sensor inside and formats the raw data the exact same way. You can customize a profile in the customization section of RAW to make the rendered image appear exactly the same however.

You can use dcptool to decompile the dcp profile for camera A and change the camera ID in the profile to camera B. Then recompile the XML back into a dcp profile, with a new name.

But, this will not generate a profile that is appropriate for the new camera. Plus, I would bet if you read the EULA for VSCO, you are probably not allowed to modify their product.
