Amazing that even without the added discount it would be cheaper for me to buy another Pro-100 than to just get a set of replacement CLI-42 inks. The printer / ink market is truly warped.

Just ordered one. Does anyone know the average cost per print (depending on size)? Hoping this is a better solution than printing at Costco.

Also, the rebate says you have to purchase a pack of paper. Does it count that this comes with the free paper?

yes, rebate count with free paper, as long as it's on same invoice. ;)

I just spoke with a BH rep and he said, "that's why we give it to you. It's on the receipt, it's your purchase regardless of how much you [didn't] pay."

Apparently these are back on sale again, now $25 after rebate, phone orders only.

It's seems insane to buy this enormous printer just for the ink and paper, but ...

Is $25 total or is there a shipping charge?

As long as you are not in New York, $325 is the total out of pocket. Then a $300 rebate card.

So net out of pocket is $25. Just ordered.

Am i missing something? Isnt the price $398 then a $300 gift card = $98 + shipping?

This deal ($325) is only available over the phone, just like the last deal ($298) over the weekend.

Call B&H at 1-866-617-7712, go through the prompts to get to printers, and there is a specific point to you speak to a salesman about the "Canon printer promotion" or whatever they called it. I missed the last deal, but ordered at lunch today (1130 EST or so). Very easy process. From what i saw at slickdealds this promo ends today.

Plus, you get a back up print head, which is costly itself.
