I already have the 70-200. Kind of not wanting to haul it around all the time due to it's weight. The 135 is lighter & also black so, less conspicuous I think. Kind regards, Kevin

Mar 04, 2014 12:22 | #6 Well, as there is only very-very minor difference on both sharpness, and bokeh @135mm, i do say, if you have the 70-200, there is not really a point in getting the 135L. Roland | Amateur Photographer

Beyond that, the 135L is lighter and faster and the 70-200 ii is heavier but more versatile. For me, I use my 135L outdoors most of the time and I can almost always use my feet to frame the shot as desired. 5D Mark III / 35L / 24-105L / 600ex-rt

Yes the 70-200 IS is heavy, but its not too much weight, after all, it does not weight more then 1.5 liters of Water ![]() It depends on how long and how far you are carrying it.

May I just jump in on this thread, whilst you are thinking and responding. I have a dilemma...keep 70-200 non IS and buy 135 or sell 70-200 non IS and buy just the 70-200 IS II. Can't afford both...
