Hiked up to Mirror Lake on Sunday in Yosemite. Had been foggy due to the snow and rain that had been going on up there, but while leaving in the evening the thicker dense fog began to roll into the Valley.

Great photo! Last time I was there it looked a lot like this, only it was smoke! Mirror Lake is gorgeous.

Your photo looks as if it was taken just after some great fire. Naked trees in the foreground and a lot of smoke behind them made this impression for me. I like it.
