The game will last 7 days and whoever can produce the best edited image (as judged by me) will be picked and it'll be their turn to post their unedited picture for all of us to take a crack at.

The participants must have their "Image Editing OK" turned on and they must provide at least a simple breakdown of how they edited the image, some entrants are a little vague on this point, please give us all details so we can learn and share tips. For instance if you use the unsharp mask tool or Smart Sharpen, provide us with the adjustments you used so others can try them out.

You can post multiple images, but the first image you post will be the one that is judged - all other images will be considered for knowledge and tip use only. Feel free to comment and/or ask questions at any time. This is a good competition for learning new methods, so let's make it a bit more dynamic. I will be judging edits, not comments. Feel free to comment on the original image as well.
If you happen to be the winner of the game please start the next one with the title of the game and the following number. For example…the next game should read "Before & After #510".

Submissions end, Tuesday, March 11th, 2014 at 5pm (EST) and a winner will be announced.

Wanted to toss up a photo I did months back when I was bored practicing some product photography. Give everyone a different type of photo.

First I selected everything but the bottle.
I used the background erase tool and erased the current selection. This gave me a clean slate to work with.
Added the leopard ( I got this from another B&A from long ago.)
Added some grass around the bottle.
Created a layer and de-saturated it making a b&w layer.
I then painted the bottle back in added its color back.
I grabbed the color using the eye drop tool from the bottle.
I used the color replacement tool and painted the eyes of the cat, matching the color of the bottle.
I ran it through NIK low key
I used the gradient tool to add a slight gradient all around.

A simple one this week - wanted to accentuate the bottle so made some adjustments in ACR, big crop and a rotate, then a couple of Topaz filters and high pass sharpen to finish.

Grabbed the lamp shade and wall outlet from the web.
Cut the bottle out and kind of tweeked it a little bit.
Added several different gradients and a color filter on different layers.
Masked out several areas here and there.
Designed the power cord and the plug on different layers.
Added shadows here and there on different layers.
Flattened and added a little black border.

DRUNKBOT- Blend mode >overlay the masked pieces of the bottle onto each of the robot parts, cut out and liquify bottle cork and neck to make robot's head, adjust wb/hue to get chest logo to match. Play with curves to boost high and mid channels. Transform>distort and play with opacity to make shadow. I think that is pretty much it..

LR--increased contrast, sharpness, and whites a bit. Set WB
PS--the backdrop curtain was some off-green color and it gave the bottle a slight green tint in places, so used hue/saturation tool, and I set lightness for the green shade to 0. reconstructed the bottom of the umbrella, and painted over the center area of the base. removed the softbox, cropped/sized.

Dawicka2 that is just awesome. Amazing PS skills, I cannot even conceive how you did some of it. Krottski, your edit is amazing too, I can, in my head, see how it's done, though doing it would be very hard for me, if not impossible.

Amazing edits everyone! Very creative indeed! Congrats Dawicka2!

Another amazing thing is how the whiskey seems to defy gravity whether it's on it's side or upside down-;)-:)
