Anyone bought Yongnuo YN-500EX flash?

I am looking for cheaper alternatives to 430ex ii which never goes on sale. Yongnuo 500EX seems to be very similar in size and functionality to 400ex ii. YN-565ex/568ex are little bigger than 500ex. Any experience with yn-500ex. Does it match with 430ex II in field.

I have the the YN 560EX II - Probably should of bought the YN 565 but didn't do enough research.

i have both the 430ex-ii and the yn-500ex. so far they work very similar. but honestly though, i am not experienced enough do a full comparison. i picked up the 430ex-ii when it was on sale here for 229CAD. then i went to china and couldn't pass up on the deal at 480rmb for the yn-500ex.

Thanks for showing size comparison. Did you notice any difference in power between yn-500ex and 430ex-ii. Yn-565 is similar to 580ex-ii and might be big for rebel. Yn500-ex has hss compared to yn-565. But it might not be that much usable considering less power.
