Interesting the change in the economic reality.

Price has seriously dropped on this one compared to the last one.

Lesser sales at a higher price point, or more sales at a lower price...

I honestly think that it has to do with the ease of sharing content today. It's pretty safe to realize that it's going to be hosted by someone for download anyway. Yes, illegally, but beside my point. For those who are unwilling to pay $XXX they are going to download it. So, I think there is a level of compromise to try and gauge what price a high number of people are willing to pay outright before they would resort to other methods.

I'll be picking up this one due to enjoying the first one so much. One of the few instructors that seems just like an average Joe that's easy to relate room and understand.

Can't wait. I have viewed the first one in snippets on YouTube, will gladly fork over $50 for the new one. Hell, given how much time I saved by using his (free) info and snippets of the paid stuff I feel like I owe it to him.

I got pretty darn decent results for the first time with a white background because of him.

So is he covering new material or just repeating everything that was said in the original video workshop?

Unless someone has seen first version and second version, that would be kind of hard to determine.

For $50 I'm confident that ZA will have enough insightful information to justify the investment, even for someone experienced with lighting. :-)

Definitely a better price than the first one. However he is making much more $ on other things now so he is not as dependent on the One light any more. A borrowed the first one from a fellow photographer and it was awesome. This one looks like it may be more well done?

Also, his first OneLight was sold strictly in DVD form, and came with "extras". This one seems to be all digital download, so I'm sure that saved some cash as well.

still cheaper than a lot of CreativeLive webinar downloads that typically run $99+.

I enjoyed his first DVD, and still reference it from time to time.
