Ordered this weekend, downloaded this weekend and watched this weekend. I admit I am pretty new to flash. I think this is a real bargain at $75.00 (yes, I was late to the party). If you are new to flash there is lots of great stuff here and I like his style. So happy not to have to buy a ton of equipment to try the stuff out. You certainly can't argue with his results.

I love that almost all pictures which Zack takes during the shoots get shown immediately.
Not every single picture is awesome...there's a process and it's great to see all that.
As Zack always says >>> you have to start somewhere.

I totally agree. Ill be honest, up until fairly recently, the thought of manual flash control freaked me out. It was very refreshing to hear that there is not really a correct starting point, that you kinda just have to wing it and dial in the exposure. For some reason, the thought of having to dial it in scared me.

You're welcome!

I tried my best to post updates and links when Zack had issues with the server. I don't work for him and I don't know him personally. I just love his work & his big heart. So I was happy to help him (and you) this way.

...being at the ass-end of the world sure has its disadvantages. Just started the first download now: I've got 15 hours to go! It might take me longer than a week to download this!

But I'm sure it will be worth it. Just had a personal email from Zack: and he is as gracious and as awesome in person (well, in email!!!) as he appears on camera. And I was seriously star struck: just stared at the email for a couple of minutes before I opened it.

Was finally able to finish the series. Great stuff.

In his image review segment, he not only goes over photos he took during the course of this video series, but also digs into older photos that appeared in his OneLight Field Guide, and his Q&A book.
