10x12" is a weird size. Borders, otherwise tell them no unless they're paying four figures.

The frame below is a 12 x 10 matted to 10 x 8 as supplied by Asda (Wal-Mart) http://direct.asda.com …001739376,default,pd.html We're discussing the image size, not the frame size. 10x12 is unusual for an image size.

I said in my first post on this thread that the size will have been requested as that is the frame size that they want to put it into and in the above post showed why this is likely and that the size is not particularly strange. 12x10 is also a standard print size offered by the lab I use along with 14x11 and plenty of others. With the variety of image / frame sizes currently available you have no idea what a customer will request.

ShutterAttack wrote in post #16736761 You all want the original image? Or a comparison of the 8x12 to the 10x12? I did offer a 10x15 earlier so maybe they got mixed up and meant 10x15.

Then I would get a low priced but nice frame with a mat and show it to them. If it is something that they like they will purchase the print. Canon 1DX Mark III, 1D mkIII, 1D Mark IV - 600EX Speedlite

Fair enough - I wasn't having a go, I really just meant that I was making some assumptions as to shooting loose as you hadn't posted the image (I had asked twice I think).

The reason why I wanted to see the image was to have a look at the effect that different crops would make as it is sometimes easier for a 3rd party to be objective as to what could work they are not invested in the image in any way. Anyhow, you got the desired result so that's a win. Haha didn't mean to sound hostile, just wasn't sure what you wanted exactly. Here's a link to a 1024x683 of the one image (don't want to post the full resolution).
