Mar 06, 2014 08:18 | #10 Well, if you look carefully, you'll see very old stickers above the black lenses, and they ones on the shelves are not in conformance to what they actually say.

neacail Goldmember More info | I'm confused . . . not by the number of lenses, but by the fact that they don't appear to be behind glass. Are people able to just walk into the store and handle the lenses, or is the display behind a counter? Shelley

Mar 06, 2014 09:19 | #14 Why don't they have end caps (where they mount to the camera) on them? Everyday use: 7D2, 1.4x v3 Canon TC (sometimes the 2x v2 Canon TC), Canon 500mm f4 L IS USM; 6D, 24-105L

Mar 06, 2014 11:12 | #15 The actual counter area of B&H has numbers above each salesperson, and I believe there's about 50 or so, meaning there are 50 or more customers being served at any one time. (And that is only in the camera department, as the store is two full floors.) The lenses, if you look closely, have inventory control tags on them so they cannot be "stolen." The lenses are provided by the manufacturer to be used as display, and when you come up to the counter and ask to try one, they will walk right up to the one you want, take it off the shelf, and you can mount it to your camera or any body they have there for you to try out, and you can basically stand there as long as you want, turning around and taking pics of other customers in the store. It's very cool.
